OECD Transboundary Movement

The OECD transboundary movement of hazardous waste is the transportation of hazardous waste by way of importing or exporting between countries.

In order to change the ownership of the spent catalyst you need this pre-consent waste details in order to know this is legal movement. When the exporting and receiving countries agree, the transboundary movement of hazardous waste can be a beneficial solution for both the environment and the economy. This agreement ensures that the waste is reused or recycled in an environmentally responsible way. All records are public contracts between nations. You can find all records here on the official OECD website.

OECD Control System for Waste Recovery

The primary objective of the OECD Control System for waste recovery is to streamline the trade of recyclables in a manner that is both environmentally sustainable and economically efficient. This is achieved through the implementation of a simplified procedure and a risk-based approach, which helps determine the appropriate level of control required for different materials.

The OECD Control System is based on two types of control pro

1. Green Control Procedure:

for wastes presenting low risk for human health and the environment and, therefore, are not subject to any other controls than those normally applied in commercial transactions

2. Amber Control Procedure:

for wastes presenting sufficient risk to justify their control.
